Founder-led guidance

Meet Monica Marroquin Rojas.

I created EXPI for families who need calm, informed education guidance before making a major international decision. I have spent over 10 years working in Ontario post-secondary education, with extensive experience in admissions and international admissions. That experience has shown me how important it is for students and parents to understand program fit, application readiness, timing, cost, and the real expectations of studying in Canada before they commit.

As an immigrant to Canada from Mexico, I also understand that studying abroad is more than an academic decision. It is a life transition. Families are often trying to understand a new culture, different customs, lifestyle changes, housing, transportation, weather, communication expectations, and how to feel settled in a new country. EXPI helps students plan not only for admission, but for a smoother transition into life in Canada.

The EXPI method

Guidance built around decisions that matter.

Families don’t just need a list of schools — they need a clear way to avoid costly mistakes, make confident choices, and understand what life in Canada is really like before and after they apply.

School & program fit

Compare options based on academic background, career direction, budget, location, language, and readiness.

Family-aware planning

Discuss timing, cost, housing, travel, settlement questions, and the realities of studying far from home.

Clear professional boundaries

Receive education guidance and referral direction to qualified professionals when regulated advice is required.
